These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and to purchases made through RollTop4x4.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

2. Website Use

We aim to ensure that all information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, we reserve the right to correct errors, update product information, amend pricing, or withdraw products at any time without prior notice.

You must not misuse this website, attempt to interfere with its normal operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

 

3. Product Information

We make every effort to describe our products accurately, including vehicle compatibility, features, specifications, dimensions and images.

Product images are for illustration purposes only. Colours, finishes, trims, accessories and minor design details may vary depending on screen settings, product batches, vehicle specification or manufacturer updates.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the product ordered is suitable for their vehicle before purchase. If you are unsure about compatibility, please contact us before placing your order.

 

4. Vehicle Compatibility

Roller shutters and related accessories are often vehicle-specific. Compatibility may depend on the make, model, year, cab style, trim level, load bed design, factory accessories and any existing modifications to the vehicle.

Where compatibility information is provided, it is based on the information available to us at the time. If your vehicle has non-standard accessories, bed liners, sports bars, racking systems or other modifications, please contact us before ordering.

We cannot accept responsibility for incorrect orders where the customer has not checked compatibility before purchase.

 

5. Pricing and VAT

All prices shown on this website are in pounds sterling.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices include VAT at the applicable UK rate.

We reserve the right to amend prices at any time. If a pricing error is discovered after an order has been placed, we will contact you before processing the order. We may cancel the order and issue a full refund if the price displayed was incorrect.

 

6. Orders and Payment

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not mean the order has been accepted.

An order is accepted once payment has been received and the goods have been dispatched, or once we confirm acceptance directly.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where:

  • the product is unavailable
  • there is a pricing or description error
  • payment is not authorised
  • delivery is not available to the requested address
  • we suspect fraud or misuse
  • the order appears to contain incorrect or incomplete information

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued.

 

7. Delivery

Delivery information, timescales and charges are set out on our Delivery Information page.

In-stock Roll Tops ordered before 1:00pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same working day on a next working day delivery service to most mainland UK addresses.

Due to the size and weight of these items, delivery may occasionally take longer. Remote areas, offshore locations, Scottish Highlands, Islands, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may be subject to additional delivery charges and longer delivery times.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

 

8. Delivery Inspection and Damage

A delivery checking procedure will be emailed to you after placing your order. Please read and follow this carefully.

You must inspect the goods and packaging on delivery. If there is visible damage, please either refuse the delivery or sign for it as damaged and notify us immediately.

If damage is discovered after delivery, you must contact us as soon as possible and provide clear photographs of the packaging and product.

Please do not fit, use or dispose of the packaging for any item that appears to be damaged, as this may affect the courier claim process.

 

9. Cancellations and Returns

You may have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations if you are purchasing as a consumer.

Returned items must be unused, unfitted, complete and in their original packaging.

Vehicle-specific products, special-order items, modified items or items made to customer specification may not be eligible for cancellation or return unless they are faulty.

10. Faulty, Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive a faulty, incorrect or incomplete item, please contact us as soon as possible.

We may ask for photographs, vehicle details, order information or other evidence to help resolve the issue.

Where goods are confirmed to be faulty, incorrect or incomplete, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement parts, repair, replacement goods or a refund, depending on the circumstances.

 

11. Warranty

Products may be supplied with a manufacturer or supplier warranty. Warranty terms vary depending on the product.

Warranty cover usually applies to manufacturing defects only and does not cover:

  • incorrect fitting
  • misuse or neglect
  • accidental damage
  • wear and tear
  • modifications
  • damage caused by unsuitable cleaning products
  • damage caused by using the product outside its intended purpose
  • water ingress where the product is described as weather resistant rather than fully waterproof
  • Roller shutters are designed to offer strong weather resistance, but they are not guaranteed to be 100% waterproof.

 

12. Fitting and Installation

Some products may require fitting, adjustment, drilling, trimming, sealing or specialist installation.

Where fitting instructions are provided, they must be followed carefully. Incorrect fitting may affect product performance, safety and warranty cover.

If you are unsure about fitting, we recommend using a professional installer or contacting us before installation.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by incorrect fitting, unsuitable installation methods, vehicle modifications or failure to follow fitting instructions.

 

13. Professional Fitting Services

Where professional fitting is arranged with us, fitting dates and times are subject to availability.

The vehicle must be suitable, accessible and in a condition that allows the product to be fitted safely. Additional work, modifications, repairs or unexpected fitting requirements may result in extra charges.

We reserve the right to refuse or postpone fitting if the vehicle is unsuitable, unsafe, modified in a way that prevents installation, or if the wrong product has been supplied due to incorrect vehicle information.

 

14. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for losses caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, severe weather, strikes, supply chain disruption, vehicle incompatibility caused by undisclosed modifications, or incorrect information supplied by the customer.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

 

15. Privacy and Data

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Your information may be used to process your order, arrange delivery, manage customer service enquiries, handle returns or warranty claims, and meet our legal obligations.

 

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
